I am especially excited about my latest discovery, adorable pet portraits by artist Alexis Trice from Welcome to the Doghouse. Using oil paints, Alexis will create a charming custom pet portrait from your personal pet photos. Her gallery features commissioned dog portraits and original animal themed oil paintings for sale. Her work is clearly more than just your average pet portrait, as Alexis’ work runs from the witty to regal in style. 
A native New Yorker, Alexis graduated from The School of Visual Arts in New York City with a BFA in Illustration. She cites her cute little babies, Una and Thea, two Boston Terriers, as her constant inspiration. Her work has been featured in Dog Fancy Magazine (Jan 2007), The New York Daily News, City Rag, Pedigree.com Newsletter and also L Magazine.com.
